A brasileira Gal Markovits, 27 anos, sempre morou em Israel. Os pais adotivos a conheceram no Rio de Janeiro quando tinha apenas três semanas de vida. Eles a escolheram pelos traços europeus. A jovem catarinense de pele clara e loura nasceu em Joinville. Em 2010 esteve em Santa Catarina a procura da família biológica, mas voltou sem informações. Seu nome foi escolha do pai adotivo que quis homenagear a cantora Gal Costa, da qual é fã. Ao ouvir as músicas brasileiras, Gal tenta se aproximar do país de origem.

Gal Markovits, a 27 years old brazilian woman, has always lived in Israel. Her adoptive fathers first met her in Rio de Janeiro when she was just three weeks old. They’d chosen her by fear european features. The young woman from Santa Catarina had light skin and blonde hair and was born in Joinville. In 2010, she was in her native state looking for her biological family, but came back with no aswers. Her name was chosen by her adoptive father, who wanted to pay tribute to the singer Gal Costa, of whom he is a fan.
