Billboard Music Awards divulga lista de indicados ao prêmio de 2022

A Billboard anunciou nesta sexta-feira (8) a lista dos indicados ao Billboard Music Awards (BBMAs), que acontece no dia 15 de maio no MGM Grand Garden Arena, em Las Vegas. A premiação começa a partir das 20h. O anfitrião do evento ainda não foi anunciado.

O cantor The Weeknd, que em 2021 bateu recordes nas principais listas da Billboard com Blinding Lights, lidera as indicações e concorre a 17 categorias, entre elas Melhor Artista, Melhor Artista Masculino e Melhor Artista do Hot 100. A colaboração com Ariana Grande, Save Your Tears (Remix), está concorrendo a seis prêmios.

Seguido do artista está Doja Cat, concorrendo a 14 categorias, Justin Bieber, Ye (anteriormente Kanye West) e Olivia Rodrigo, com 13 indicações cada. Bieber, que se apresenta no Brasil no segundo semestre do ano, é o terceiro artista mais condecorado do BBMAs, com 21 vitórias. O cantor está atrás de Drake, que possui 29 vitórias, e Taylor Swift, com 25 prêmios.
